Rates, Billing, & Insurance
I aim to be as transparent as possible about cost. All fees are in Canadian dollars and are the same whether we meet in person in Burnaby or online, and the same in English or conversational Mandarin. If anything isn’t clear and you have questions, I am happy to address them directly in our introduction call.
20 minute introduction call
I offer every new client a free 20-minute consultation, by phone or video. It exists so you can hear how I work and decide whether it suits you, with no obligation either way.

My standard fee is $160 CAD per 50 minute session. I charge the same rates for in-person or virtual counselling as well as evening or weekend sessions.

Payment
Our booking system makes paying for counselling very easy. Payment is due at the end of each session and can be made by e-transfer or credit card. I do not offer direct billing.
Re-imbursement through insurance
I provide a receipt after payment, which you may submit to your insurer for reimbursement. Please check with your provider to confirm if services by a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) are covered.
Cancellation
Life happens. Please notify me at least 24 hours before our planned session if you need to cancel.
Questions people ask about rates and billing
